분사자리에 현재분사를 쓸 지 과거분사를 쓸 지는 

명사와 분사와의 관계를 따져 결정합니다.

명사가 직접 하는거면(능동) 현재분사를

[ 한줄해석 ]

 

 

 

To be sure, one could try to interpret the unfiltered activity of another person’s brain.

 

다른 사람의 두뇌의 걸러지지 않은 활동을 해석하려고 노력하는 것이 ‘가능 하다’는 것은 분명하다. 

 

At first it would seem like incomprehensible static, but with practice and experience a person who is visually handicapped would learn that certain kinds of “static” mean one thing, other kinds other things.

 

처음에 그것은 이해할 수 없는 (수신기의) 잡음인 것 처럼 보일 수 있지만, 연습과 경험으로 시각 장애가 있는 사람은 ‘(수신기의) 잡음’의 특정한 종류들이 한 가지를 의미하고, (잡음의) 다른 종류가 다른 것을 의미한다는 것을 배울 수 있을 것이다. 

 

The brain is remarkably good at extracting patterns from seeming noise.

 

두뇌는 잡음처럼 보이는 것에서 패턴을 추출하는 데 몹시 능숙하다.

After a little practice users can “see” doorways and elevator buttons, pick out items at the dinner table, and even read letters and numbers.

 

약간의 연습 후에 사용자들은 출입구와 엘리베이터 버튼을 ‘볼’ 수 있고, 저녁 식탁에서 물건을 고를 수 있으며, 심지어 글자와 숫자까지 읽을 수 있다. 

 

Though the input is oral and tactile, after a while the user starts to feel as though she is actually seeing.

 

입력된 정보가 입과 촉각을 통한 것 일지라도 잠시 후 사용자는 마치 자신이 실제로 보고 있는 것처럼 ‘느끼기’ 시작한다.
