The graph above shows the percentage of men and women responses on exercise companionship from a survey conducted from 2003 to 2006.

위 그래프는 2003년에서 2006년까지 실시된 설문조사에서 함께 운동하는 사람에 관한 남성과 여성의 반응을 퍼센트 값으로 보여주고 있다. 

 

More than half of both men and women reported that they exercised alone, which represented the largest category of companionship for the two groups.

절반 이상의 남성과 여성은 그들이 혼자 운동한다고 응답했는데, 이는 두 그룹에서 가장 큰 비율을 차지했다. 

 

The second highest response category for the two groups, which had the largest percentage point gap between men and women, was exercising with family members.

두 집단에서 두 번째로 큰 응답 범주는 가족과 함께 운동하는 것이었는데, 이 경우 남성과 여성 사이에서 가장 큰 비율 값의 차이가 발생하였다. 

 

More male respondents reported exercising with friends or neighbors than female respondents.

남성 응답자들이 여성 응답자들에 비해 더 많이 친구나 이웃과 함께 운동한다고 응답했다. 

 

No other exercise companion group for men and women, respectively, was less favored than co-workers.

남성과 여성 두 그룹에서, 각각 직장 동료보다 덜 선호되는 운동 동반자는 없었다. 

 

For female respondents, the percentage of exercising with family members was more than twice that of exercising with friends or neighbors.

여성 응답자들의 경우 가족과 함께 운동하는 사람들의 비율은 친구나 이웃과 함께 운동하는 비율의 두 배 이상이었다.
