Imagine you have just returned from a seventh-grade field trip.

여러분이 7학년 현장 학습에서 막 돌아왔다고 상상해 보라. 

 

You had to take pictures of six different kinds of leaves/needles from trees and identify them.

여러분은 나무에서 딴 여섯 가지 서로 다른 종류의 잎이나 침엽을 사진으로 찍어서 그것들을 식별해야 했다. 

 

The teacher was giving out hints and information as the class walked through the forest.

반 학생들이 걸어서 숲을 지나갈 때, 교사는 힌트와 정보를 주고 있었다. 

 

You recorded what you thought you were seeing as you took the pictures.

여러분은 사진을 찍으면서 자신이 보고 있다고 생각하는 것을 기록했다.

 

This leaf is prickly.

이 잎은 꺼끌 꺼끌하다. 

 

That one is smooth.

저것은 매끄럽다.

 

This one smells like turpentine.

이것은 테레빈유 같은 냄새가 난다. 

 

You compared notes with your friends and figured out that a couple were wrong, so you added new audio recordings to the pictures, correctly identifying the trees.

친구들과 의견을 교환하고 두 서너개가 틀렸다는 것을 알아내서, 여러분은 사진에 새로운 오디오 녹음을 추가하여 제대로 나무를 식별했다. 

 

Back in class the teacher shows pictures the students have taken and the class has to guess the species.

수업 시간으로 돌아와서, 교사는 학생들이 찍은 사진을 보여 주고, 반 학생들은 그 종을 알아 맞혀야 한다. 

 

Audio is played back to indicate the correct answer.
