One of the most frustrating issues for moms of children of any age is having kids who cannot get along.

어떤 나이든지 아이들을 가진 엄마들에게 가장 좌절감을 주는 것들 중 하나는 서로 잘 지내지 못하는 아이들을 두는 것이다. 

 

 

Here is a word of wisdom.

여기 지혜의 말이 있다. 

 

 

Life is about problem-solving.

삶은 문제를 해결하는 것이다. 

 

Resolving sibling discord teaches important life skills and lessons about fairness, respect for others, self-control, and negotiation.

형제자매 간의 불화를 해결하는 것은 공정함, 다른 사람들에 대한 존중, 자제력, 그리고 협상에 관한 중요한 삶의(삶에 대한) 기술과 교훈을 가르친다. 

 

It’s important to understand that, while our children grow up in the same home, each of them experiences the world differently.

우리 아이들이 같은 집에서 자라나기는 하지만, 그들 각각은 세상을 다르게 경험한다는 것을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 

 

They interpret the world through their own eyes.

그들은 세상을 자기 자신의 눈을 통해 해석한다. 

 

As parents, we can help them best when we encourage them to see their individual gifts and unique talents.

부모로서 우리는 그들이 자신만의 개별적인 재능과 독자적인 자질을 보도록 격려할 때 그들을 가장 잘 도울 수 있다. 

 

As they begin to grasp a sense of their identity, separate from their siblings and even from us, the rivalry will get easier.

그들이 그들의 형제자매와 심지어 우리와 분리된 자신들의 정체성을 이해하기 시작하면서 경쟁은 (다루기가) 더 쉬워질것이다. 

 

It also helps not to compare one child to the other one; that creates resentment.

또한, 한 아이와 다른 아이를 비교하지 않는 것은 도움이 된다. 그것은 아이들을 분개하게 한다.
